And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

Q1. Who created the world?

The question or issue that keeps on coming in the minds of humans from the beginning of human race until now is the question/issue of true God. Who is the creator (God)? Does God exist if so how is he and what are his attributes or qualities?. If creation has to take place there must be a creator and this creator is God Jehovah. He is spirit and so he is God says the Bible. It is written like that in the first book of the Holy Bible. On the First Day God said, Let there be light: and there was light. God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. On the Second Day God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And god made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. God called the firmament Heaven. On the Third Day God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas”. On the Fourth Day God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. On the Fifth Day God said, Let the earth and the waters bring forth the moving creatures that hath life. On the Sixth Day God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; Male and Female he created them. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the Seventh Day, and sanctified it. This is how Creator God Jehovah created the universe.

Q2. Who is Jesus?

Two thousand years ago God sent Jesus Christ in to this world. The Bible talks about Jesus Christ the Saviour of this world, 750 years before Jesus Christ came into this world. Isaiah 7:14- Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us). Vedas and scriptures of other faiths also talk about Jesus Christ. We will see a few examples: “Esha Putram chamam viddi kumara garbham” says Bhavishya Puranam. This means “Behold that son of God will be born to a virgin”.So the prophecy of prophet Isaiah is fulfilled in New testament , Matt1:22.” Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us”. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Q3. Why did Jesus Christ come into this world?

Every human being is a sinner by birth and by deeds. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”-Rom 3:23. Even scriptures of other faiths also say the same thing. “sarva papa pariharartham raktha prokshana mavasyakam, thad raktham para mardhaina, punya dhana baliyagam” which means that for the atonement of sins of all humans holy blood has to be shed and this blood must be God’s blood. So to redeem us from sin permanently God sent his son Jesus Christ into this world as a human being.

Q4. Why did Jesus Christ die for us?

The blood of animals (sheep’s, goats and bulls) cannot remove sin from human beings. Again and again by offering the same sacrifices, sins can never be taken away. For by one sacrifice Jesus has made perfect forever those who are being made holy (Heb. 10:12). So Jesus Christ shed his blood to permanently remove human sin and release us from sin Jesus Christ was resurrected on the third day.

Q5. Why should we worship Jesus Christ?

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, God raised us up with Christ. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions (Eph 2:4-5). We know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands (2 Cor 5:1)

Q6. How should we worship God?

Before we worship God we need to understand with our whole heart that Jesus Christ is son of God and only through Him we can reach God’s kingdom. We need to worship God with all our heart, all our strength and all our spirit. We should not worship any idol as God is spirit, He should be worshipped in spirit only. We should also keep the Lord’s Day holy which is Sunday (day of resurrection). We ought to go to his presence to worship Him. We worship Him by submitting ourselves totally (with soul, spirit and body) to him and by keeping the Lord’s Day holy.

Q7. What should we do?

“I am the LORD your God, You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God (Exo 20:1, 3-5). Jesus is the way, truth and life. God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,  in heaven and on earth and under the earth,  and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil 2:9-11). Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
